On Wednesdays November 8 and 15, join us at 6:00pm in room 124 or via Zoom for How Capitalism Captured and Corrupted the Gospel (and How Jesus Might Yet Save the Churches) presented by Bruce Rogers-Vaughn.

Bruce Rogers-Vaughn, an ordained Baptist minister, is a Clinical Pastoral Therapist at the Pastoral Center for Healing in Brentwood, Tennessee. Bruce also taught at Vanderbilt Divinity School for 23 years, ultimately serving as Associate Professor of the Practice of Pastoral Theology and Counseling, and is now recognized there as a Visiting Scholar. He is the author of Caring for Souls in a Neoliberal Age, as well as numerous articles and chapters. In 2022, Bruce was invited to join an international slate of keynote speakers to address the annual conference of the American Monetary Institute. He currently serves on the Board of the Alliance for Just Money, an activist organization committed to removing the ability to create money from private banks and placing it into public hands, as authorized by the US Constitution.
